Lawson | Absent si Graphic Desginer Practice
This project is a design exercise in the Absent si Graphic Designer Trend, where professional product visuals are intentionally sabotaged with crude design elements. The goal is to create a humorous, on-trend social media material that contrasts high-quality rendering with an amateur aesthetic.
The design contrasts highly rendered product photography (Lawson cup and Matcha) with an overly dramatic and exaggerated fantasy setting. The Absent Designer humor is established through forced, poor compositing of the cup onto a surreal green landscape, along with mismatched and awkwardly placed typography.
